2 Health Workers Had Allergic Reactions to COVID Vaccine, Urge Others to Still Get Vaccinated

As tens of thousands of health care personnel and nursing home residentswere vaccinated with the newly-approved Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinethis week, two medical workers in Alaska had allergic reactions to the shot.The two staffers, both at the same hospital in Alaska, developed allergy symptoms just minutes after being inoculated with the first doseof the Pfizer vaccine. The hospital said that this would not change their vaccine rollout plans, and the workers still urged others to get vaccinated.

2 Helicopter Passengers in Stable Condition After Crash in Miami Beach

2 High School Cheerleaders Killed in High-Speed Crash, Police Officer Arrested

A community has been left in mourning after two high school cheerleaders were killed when a police chase turned deadly this weekend, with one officer charged as a result. Maggie Dunn, 17, and Caroline Gill, 15 — both of whom were students and cheerleaders at Brusly High School in Louisiana — were killed in the crash, which officials said occurred during a high-speed pursuit of a home-invasion suspect on Saturday night.

2 Hikers Found Dead in Nevada State Park as Temperatures Reached 114 Degrees

One of the members of the group contacted the Nevada State Park Police about a welfare check just before 3 p.m. local time, per the outlets. After responding, police found the body of one of the women along a trail inside the park.
