Two Idaho siblings— Joshua “J.J.” Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17 — were last seen in September — and their mother,Lori Vallow, was arrested Thursday night on the Hawaiian island of Kaua’i, where she went after her kids vanished. She faces two counts of desertion of a child and other charges. The children remain unaccounted for, though police in Kaua’i says there is “no indication” the children are on Kaua’i. Lori, who is being held on $5 million bond, faces a maximum sentence on each count of 14 years in prison.

2 Illinois Teens on Spring Break Killed Sledding in Colorado

The teenagers, who were on spring break vacation, were aboard the sled when it “launched off a large snowbank” at the bottom of the half pipe, the sheriff’s office said. “The two individuals came down hard on the hard ice below, causing blunt force trauma,” the agency added on Facebook.

2 Indiana High School Students Killed in Car Crash on Their Way to Prom Together

Two high school students from Indiana died in a car crash on their way to the senior prom on Saturday. “It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we have been informed that two students involved in this accident died from their injuries,” Arrowood said. The accident happened around 5:15 p.m. local time in Arcadia, about 40 miles north of Indianapolis. Hart and Byram were both found dead once officers arrived.
