Colon, 50, the owner of theFrench Bulldognamed Lyla, allegedly paid Huertas-Rivera $650 to perform an illegal C-section at his home in Lake County, Florida, anarrest affidavitstates. Colon’s 15-year-old daughter posted asince-removed videoof Huertas-Rivera performing the operation on TikTok, according toWESH Orlando. The video allegedly shows the dog in a semi-sedated state writhing in pain as Huertas-Rivera attempted to deliver puppies, WESH Orlando reports.

Thursday morning, Greater Manchester Policeannouncedthat the two suspects were arrested in Birmingham and Manchester and “remain in custody for questioning.” Their identities have not been made public. On Saturday, four hostages were held for hours inside a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas. The victims were later rescued and released.
