Two people have died due to a small plane crash in Pembroke Pines, Fla., on Monday afternoon.
Preliminary investigations found that the plane — which was a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft — crashed shortly after departure from the North Perry Airport around 3 p.m. local time, the Federal Aviation Administration tells PEOPLE.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will continue to investigate, the agency said.

At least two people are dead and some 28 were left injured after a high-speed passenger train derailment in Italy, multiple outlets reported.
At about 5:30 a.m. local time Thursday, the train — which was moving about 180 miles per hour — derailed in the Lodi province when its engine detached and made impact with a work train car on another track, according to theAssociated Press.
The train was making the trip from Milan to Salerno, according toThe New York Times.

Two people were found dead inside a crashed car linked to two California teenagers who have been missing for nearly a week, authorities said.
Officials in Los Angeles County have been on the hunt for Ethan Manzano and Sophia Edwards, both 19, since July 1, when they were last seen driving a 2007 Isuzu Ascender near Angeles Crest Highway in the Angeles National Forest, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says in a statement to PEOPLE.

Two people were found dead following a boating accident on Lake Pueblo in Colorado that left 11 others injured, according to authorities.
The Pueblo County Coroner hasidentified Joshua Prindle, 30, andJessica Prindle, 38, as the two victims who died when the boat they were on capsized Sunday on Lake Pueblo.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife saidin a statement on their websitethat its Marine Evidence Recovery Team (MERT) “recovered the body in 107 feet of water” Tuesday morning following “an all-night search” on the north shore of Lake Pueblo State Park.
