Two fans were injured after shots were fired at a White Sox baseball game in Chicago on Friday evening, authorities said.
Two women, a 42-year-old and a 26-year-old, were injured while sitting in the bleachers as the Chicago White Sox and the Oakland A’s played at the Guaranteed Rate Field, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department shared with PEOPLE.
According to astatementfrom the White Sox, it remains “unclear to investigators whether the shots were fired from outside or inside the ballpark.

“She reportedly snuck the gun in past metal detectors hiding it in the folds of her belly fat,” continued Kusinski.
During a “high-level” meeting Tuesday, police identified the victims as Chicago Public Schools teachers at Graham Elementary School, reportsABC 7.

Two people were killed in California Tuesday after their car plunged off the Pacific Coast Highway and burst into flames, according to authorities.The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a vegetation fire on the southern portion of the famed highway early on Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said in astatement.As fire crews battled the flames, they soon discovered the cause was a vehicle on the cliffside that was sitting about 300 feet below the roadway.

Two people are dead and two more injured after a man allegedly went on a deadly rampage in Seattle Wednesday.
According to the Seattle Police Department, just after 4 p.m., the man opened fire on several vehicles, including a Metro bus before carjacking a Prius and colliding with another driver in the Sand Point neighborhood.
Police believe the man chose his targets at random.
“We believe it’s a random, senseless act,” Deputy Police Chief Marc Garth Green told reporters during a briefing after the incident.

A small plane crashed into an apartment complex in Atlanta shortly after take-off on Wednesday, killing two people on board.A Piper PA-28 left the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport around 10:30 a.m. and soon crashed into the complex on Oakawana Drive, a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration says in a statement to PEOPLE.The road is just 5 miles away from the airport and about 10 miles northeast of the city’s downtown.One death was confirmed just before noon, while the second victim died later that afternoon, a spokesperson for the DeKalb County Fire Rescue told PEOPLE in a statement.
