Three men have been charged in the suspicious deaths of model and aspiring actress Christy Giles and her friend, designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola.
On Thursday, in a news release, the Los Angeles Police Department announced the arrests of David Pearce, 37, Michael Ansbach, 47, and Brandt Osborn, 42. Pearce is charged with manslaughter, while Ansbach and Osborn are both charged with accessory to manslaughter.

Three Alabama residents were charged this week in connection with alleged abuse that involved locking children in wooden cages.
According to thesheriff’s office, investigators found two wooden cages that had hasp latches and locking mechanisms. Upon further investigation, the team learned that children had been locked in the cages “on multiple occasions.”
Four children were in the home at the time of the welfare check, ages 3, 4, 10 and 11.

Photo: Leavenworth County SHERIFFA 12-year-old boy in Kansas died on Wednesday after a suspect allegedly fired shots at the vehicle he was in at a KARE Pharmacy parking lot around 6:45 pm.The suspects, including 25-year-old Darvon Deshawn Thomas, a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, were in a white Dodge Charger sedan when “a suspect” allegedly fired “multiple shots” at a black Volkswagen Jetta sedan where the 12-year-old was seated, the Leavenworth Police Department said in apress release.

Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital went “out of service” due to a power outage on Saturday, resulting in the death of three babies, Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health officials said.
The officials say the neonatal unit of the city’s largest hospital is now carrying out artificial respiration,according to CNN. There are currently 36 babies in the unit and 400 patients in active treatment, plus 20,000 people seeking shelter at the complex from Israeli fire.

Three Baltimore firefighters are dead after a building collapsed while they were battling a two-alarm fire early Monday morning.
Lt. Paul Butrim, Kelsey Sadler, and Kenny Lacayo “made the ultimate sacrifice” after responding to the blaze in a vacant home on the 200 block of South Stricker Street, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scottsaid in a statement.
All three were inside the home when the structure collapsed. A fourth firefighter, identified as John McMaster, was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, though he remains in stable condition, Scott said.
