A North Carolina man who once threatened that his wife would leave their home in a body bag killed her and another woman and wounded a third person before turning the gun on himself Monday, say authorities.
Upon arriving, officers found Roxanne Auton Mitchem, 32, dead on the property, the statement says.
Inside the home, they found Jessica Rose Fowler, 34, dead of a gunshot wound, it says.

Three people — a woman, her son and the woman’s boyfriend — were all found dead in a home in St. Cloud, Fla., in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez said in apress conferenceTuesday night that the sheriff’s office received a call from the grandmother of one of the victims at 2:30 p.m. She told authorities that she had gone to her grandson’s home to check on him because she hadn’t heard from him in a while, but upon entering his home, she found him dead.

At least three people — two in Connecticut and one in New York — have died after being exposed to Vibrio vulnificus, a virulent flesh-eating bacteria.
In Connecticut, two people were infected after swimming in the brackish waters of the Long Island Sound, the body of water that separates the Connecticut shoreline with the North Shore of Long Island.
A third Connecticut resident was infected after eating raw oysters.

Three people died after a speeding car jumped a curb and crashed into a SEPTA station in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The driver, who was operating an SUV, was traveling eastbound “at a high rate of speed” when he “failed to navigate a bend in the highway and traveled through the intersection,” per authorities. After the driver jumped the curb outside the station, he crashed into a turnstile before hitting a wall, police said.

Three men were killed and a fourth remains hospitalized after they were shot on a basketball court in Philadelphia.The shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. on Friday at the 8th and Diamond courts in North Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE. Police said five males began firing at a group of people gathered on the court before fleeing the area.
