Three people are dead and another four are injured following a shooting that took place in Beverly Crest, California, early Saturday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Officers from the West Los Angeles division responded to multiple 911 calls about the shooting that occurred at 2:30 a.m. local time on Saturday at a short-term rental property on Ellison Drive, just north of Beverly Hills, the LAPD said in apress release shared on Twitter.

Just before midnight on Friday, three people were killed during a shooting at a bowling alley in Southern California, PEOPLE has confirmed.
“Upon arrival, our officers discovered multiple subjects with gunshot wounds inside the location. We had two male subjects that were transported to local hospitals for their injuries. Two additional males were injured, however, they offered to seek their own medical attention,” the statement continued.

Three people are dead after a suspect opened fire in multiple buildings on Michigan State University’s campus Monday night. Police say the gunman is dead.
The Michigan State Police Department shared the death toll hours after the shooting.
“There are3 confirmed fatalities. This is in addition to the 5 victims who have been transported to the hospital,” it wrote.
In alive news briefing, Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman said, “We are very saddened to report that there has been an incident on the campus of Michigan State University.

At least four people are dead and dozens have been injured after a series of tornadoes ripped through parts of the South, including Texas and Florida.
Three deaths occurred in Perryton, Texas, a small town with a population of 8,500 close to the state line with Oklahoma, according toABC NewsandNBC News. The tornado struck the town shortly after 5:00 p.m. local time, per NBC News, which reported that two people had also been reported missing.

An Iowa man opened fire outside a megachurch, killing two Iowa State University students before turning the gun on himself, authorities say.
Johnathan Lee Whitlatch, 33, shot and killed 22-year-old Eden Mariah Montang and 21-year-old Vivian Renee Flores in the parking lot of Cornerstone Church in Ames, Iowa. After shooting the women, Whitlatch killed himself.
On Thursday evening, Story County Sheriff Paul Fitzgerald told reporters that the shooting was a targeted attack.
