Families in West Virginia were cheering Wednesday night as they were united with three loved ones who were trapped in an abandoned coal mine for four excruciating days. A fourth member of the group, 43-year-old Eddie Williams, was able tofind his way out on Monday and point authorities to their location, ABC News reported. On Tuesday, rescue workers cleared standing water in the caves through water pumps and installed large fans to move fresh air into the mines to keep the group alive.

Hunter Chenoweth, 22, of DeQueen, was arrested Tuesday night, just hours after Madison County deputies found the bodies of Tami Lynn Chenoweth, 51; James Stanley McGhee, 59; and their 26-year-old daughter Cheyene Chenoweth, 26, inside a home south of Huntsville, according toArkansas State Police.

The fatal incidents unfolded on Valentine’s Day, with one occurring in Montana and the other two in Colorado, according to theColorado Avalanche Information Center(CAIC). Two of the three victims' identities have since been released, as theGallatin County Coroner’s Officeconfirmed Monday that Craig Kitto, 45, died in the Montana avalanche on Sunday.

Three people, including a police officer, were stabbed during an incident at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday. Per a statementfrom the Atlanta Police Department (APD), officers assigned to the airport encountered a woman armed with a knife outside of a security checkpoint at around 4:45 p.m. ET. “Officers engaged the female, attempting to talk her into dropping the knife and working to restrict her movement and move travelers from the area,” the APD said in the statement.
