3 Women Allegedly Encouraged Elderly Patients to Fight Each Other at Assisted Living Facility

Photo: Winston-Salem Police Department Three workers at a North Carolina assisted living facility have been arrested after police say that they encouraged the residents to fight each other while they videotaped them. Documents allege that one of the residents was heard yelling, “Let go, help me, help me, let go,” as the employees continued to watch the fight. One of the suspects allegedly told the woman to stop screaming, but did nothing to assist her.

3 Women Are Found Slain in Fla. Home — and Police Are Searching for 1-Week-Old Boy

Photo: Miami-Dade Police/Twitter Florida officials have issued an AMBER Alert for a one-week-old boy, taken from the Miami home where police found the slain bodies of three women Tuesday. Police have not released the names of the deceased women. It is unclear if one of the three slain victims was the mother of the missing child, identified as Andrew Caballeiro. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement believes the newborn may be with his father, 49-year-old Ernesto Caballeiro, and that he may be in danger.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a family disturbance at a condominium on the resort island around 10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found three women dead from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims, who authorities say are members of the same family, were identified as Odalys Hernandez, 46; Zulema Hernandez-Napoles, 47; and Sandra Napoles, 65.
