At least 40 people were killed and several more injured in a deadly crash in Senegal on Sunday, according to the country’s president, Macky Sall.
The country’s public prosecutor Cheikh Dieng said one of the tires on a public bus got punctured, sending the bus careening across Senegal’s National Road No.1 where it crashed into another bus coming the opposite way, perAP News. Dieng said the accident left at least 78 people injured at the scene.

A new survey has revealed where pet owners rank their furry friends compared to the humans in their life.
To celebrate March 23rd’s National Puppy Day,Wag!surveyed 1,001 dog owners, asking the pet parents questions aboutthe pandemic, returning to work, caring for their canine, and more.
Of the survey participants planning to return to the office soon, 41 percent said they expect to miss their dog more than their kids or partner when they head back to work.

Most pet owners spare no expense when it comes to their furry family members.
The average pet owner spends over $4,500 on their pet’s basic needs every year, according to new research. Two in five pet parents agree that having a pet is just as, if not more, expensive than raising a child, and 61% confirm that having a pet is more costly than they initially thought.
A survey of 2,000 dog and cat owners looked at their spending habits regarding their furry companions and found that half of the respondents said they spend more money on their pets every year than they do on themselves.

A crash involving 40 vehicles on an Iowa highway Thursday afternoon has left multiple people injured as the region continues to battle icy conditions.
The Iowa State Patrol said the crash occurred near the city of Newton, around 35 miles east of Des Moines, just before noon,NBC Newsreported. The accident took place within the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80, authorities told the outlet.
