Five people have been discovered dead after going missing in the Swiss Alps.

Police confirmed the hikers were from the Switzerland canton of Valais area and aged from 21 to 58 years old.

Five people were injured at an Illinois Starbucks on Thursday after a pickup truck slammed into the coffee shop, partially collapsing the building.
Officers responded to the scene in McHenry at 4:40 p.m., and found a Dodge Ram lodged partially inside the Starbucks, which had sustained “heavy damage” in the crash, the McHenry Police Department said in anews release.
The Dodge had been traveling westbound on W. Elm St. prior to the crash, but left the roadway due to a “medical emergency” and struck an SUV sitting in the drive-thru before colliding into the coffee shop, police said.

Five people died and three others were injured on Sunday after a plane fell apart mid-air, caught fire and crashed into a California home, according to reports.
The pilot — who was the only one on board — died along with four people who were inside the Yorba Linda, California, home, at the time of the crash, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Cory Martino said at anews conference. He added the victims inside the home, which caught on fire, were two males and two females, but he couldn’t confirm their names or ages.

A medical transport airplane crashed Friday in Stagecoach, Nev., resulting in the deaths of all five people aboard.
“We are heartbroken to report that we have now received confirmation from Central Lyon County Fire Department thatnone of the five people on board survived,” Care Flight announced in a statement, noting that the aircraft with tail number N273SM went off radar at around 9:45 p.m.

“The five people on board were a pilot, a flight nurse, a flight paramedic, a patient and a patient’s family member,” the statement continued.

Five people were killed in Alaska on Thursday in a commuter aircraft crash, authorities said.
The Yute Air plane was traveling from Bethel to Kipnuk with a pilot and four passengers on board when it went down, Alaska State Troopers said in adispatch.
The troopers were notified of the overdue aircraft, and later found the crash scene about 12 miles southwest of Tuntutuliak. Tuntutuliak is about halfway between Bethel and Kipnuk.
