Luke Hemmingsannounced Wednesday that his debut solo album will be released later this summer.
When Facing the Things We Turn Away Fromwill make its debut in August, the5 Seconds of Summervocalist shared on Instagram. The album’s first single, “Starting Line,” was released Wednesday.
“I couldn’t be prouder to introduce you toWhen Facing the Things We Turn Away From; a project that grew out of a year of enforced stillness,” Hemmings wrote in the caption.

Though the cannon firing didn’t go quite as expected, Crystal laughs it will be a memorable story to tell their daughter one day.
“I really enjoyed the part when a cannon malfunctioned and went off too early,” she tells PEOPLE with a laugh. “The gender reveal part of the shower was kind of an afterthought, so we were all still standing around trying to figure out where to stand when it happened.

Michael Cliffordand Crystal Leigh are loving life as new parents!
“Georgia is Crystal’s home state. We wanted to move here, just for a few years to start our family,” Michael tells PEOPLE. “All of her cousins just had babies too, so it’s fun. Lua is a Georgia-born half-Australian Los Angeles resident.”
“It was such an intimate moment and we’re so glad we were able to have great people to help us through,” Crystal says.

A fifth victim ofMonday’s mass shooting at a downtown Louisville, Ky., bankhas died. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department,Deana Eckert, 57, diedlate Monday in the hospital.
NPRreports that she was an executive administrator at Old National Bank, where the shooting took place.
Police believe the shooter used a rifle and live-streamed the attack, according to Louisville Metro Police Department Interim Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel, per NPR. A motive in the shooting was not disclosed.
