A shooting at a park in Aurora, Colorado sent six teenagers to the hospital Monday.
The shooting happened at around 12:45 p.m. local time at Nome Park, where APD Chief Vanessa Wilson said shell casings from different caliber guns were discovered and witnessesreported multiple suspicious vehicles, according to CNN.
The park sits just across the street from Aurora Central High School, where all six victimsare enrolled. Officialsestablished a secure perimeteraround the school after the shooting, and the districtnotified parents via automated email, arranging for student dismissal for the day.

An explosion inside a Brooklyn apartment building left six people injured and dozens of others without shelter.
Firefighters received reports of an explosion and ensuing fire at an apartment building in Cypress Hills just after midnight on Wednesday, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
“There was an explosion out the front,” FDNY Deputy Chief Patrick Sheridan told reporters, according to theNew York Post. “The first floor collapsed into the cellar, so we were unable to get searches of the cellar and the first floor of the original fire building.
