A California great-grandmother is proving that age is just a number as she becomes the newest model for a makeup brand.Helene Simon tells PEOPLE she had her doubts when her granddaughter, Laney Crowell, asked her to be the new face of her beauty line,Saie, shortly after her 99th birthday.“I’d seen all the beautiful models, and I was no competition for that,” says Simon, who is better known as Nanna to her six kids, 11 grandkids and six great-grandkids.

Mikulincer was with his friend of 40 years and fellow Holocaust survivor Jehuda Lindenblatt at the time. Lindenblatt, who is an EMT, called for help,CBSNewYorkreports.
Mikulincer was pronounced dead when he arrived at NYC Health and Hospitals/Coney Island, police said.
“I’m a Holocaust survivor. I went through a lot of things, and that was one of the biggest shocks in my life,” Lindenblatt, 85, told CBSNewYork.

You’re never too old for a ballgame.
On Saturday, soon-to-be 99-year-old Catherine Kyle finally checked attending a Pittsburg Pirates game off her bucket list.
“I was really surprised,” Kyle toldCNNof her birthday gift. “They like to surprise me.”
Kyle’s family wore matching yellow T-shirts that read “Catherine’s Crew” for the outing with all 16 of her children, grandchildren and great children attending the game, according to her granddaughter, Donna Kinzler.

A 99-year-old women lived her life with her vital organs on the opposite sides of her body due to a rare condition, reports say.
Rose Marie Bentley lived her life free of any major health issues and died of natural causes,according to CNN. It was after her death that her family learned that she suffered from situs inversus with levocardia, a condition that usually claims the lives of patients before the age of 5.
