The Nurse Choir, a group of front-line nurses of Northwell Health who first gathered in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic began, visited Carly Colvell at her Plainedge, NY home to sing andshare their support for her while she battles ALS.
Winnie Mele, Director of Perioperative Services at Plainview Hospital and member of the choir, spoke to PEOPLE about the “magical” experience.
“When we got invited to sing for Carly, I think I can speak for all of us, that was the most emotional gig that we did,” Mele says.

Shia LaBeoufandFKA twigsgot closer over the holidays.
The pair, whowere spotted kissing back in November, was photographed heading to dinner in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, on Monday.
Both were dressed up for the occasion, FKA twigs (born Tahliah Debrett Barnett) in a long floral dress which she paired with black shoes and a matching black satchel bag.
LaBeouf, 32, kept it festive in a pair of gray slacks and a festive red snowman jacket with a white collar which he wore over a navy sweater.

Billingsley, 49, joined theThat Scene With Dan Patrickpodcast to discuss the movie, and shared that in one of the movie’s recognizable scenes, he was given real chewing tobacco.
For the scene in question, Billingsley, who played Ralphie, daydreams about saving his family with a BB gun and is dressed up as a sheriff.
